Introduction:
| This special session focuses on the latest developments in control theory, inverse problems and long time behavior of evolution equations and systems, which are some of the most fundamental mathematical aspects for studying evolution systems.
Evolution equations and systems are partial differential equations and systems that describe the time evolution of some natural phenomena. They arise from many areas of applied and engineering sciences. The rich methodologies developed in those areas may also be applied in much broader fields such as aerophysics, finance, medical imaging or biology,... This special session will bring together mathematicians from different backgrounds and stages of career to share their recent research findings on the proposed topics, and also provide a platform for professional networking and collaboration.
