Introduction:
| Differential equations, both deterministic and stochastic, play a fundamental role in modeling complex phenomena across applied sciences such as solid and fluid mechanics, materials science, biological systems and mathematical finance. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, rigorous analysis, calculus of variations, reaction-diffusion equations, dynamical systems, free-boundary problems and related models and methods. The session also aims to explore emerging trends as well as challenges in partial differential equations which arise in these fields, and provide new directions for future investigation.
