Introduction:
| Many problems in physics, chemistry and biology can be described using reaction-diffusion equations. The analysis of their dynamical behavior has always been a fundamental issue in the fields of differential equations, dynamical systems, and their applications. This special session focuses on theory, methods and applications of reaction-diffusion equations. Related topics are spatial propagation, pattern formation, free boundary problem and asymptotic behavior of solutions in reaction-diffusion equations and applications in biology.
