 Introduction:
Stochastic dynamical systems (SDS) provide a powerful framework for understanding the interplay between randomness and deterministic dynamics in complex systems. This special session aims to bring together researchers working on theoretical, numerical, and applied aspects of SDS to explore recent advancements and emerging challenges in the field. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: invariant manifolds, stochastic bifurcations, invariant measures, ergodic theory, random attractors, and applications in climate science, biology, and engineering. The session will foster interdisciplinary discussions, highlighting novel methodologies and their implications for modeling and predicting systems subject to random perturbations. Contributions from both established experts and early-career researchers are encouraged to promote a diverse and dynamic exchange of ideas.
