 Introduction:  
  Generalized Inverse Theory has established itself as a fundamental underpinning in diverse domains including mathematical statistics, control theory, and numerical analysis. To uphold the academic heritage of the field and foster innovations in Generalized Inverse Theory alongside its interdisciplinary applications, we propose organizing a special session entitled "Generalized Inverses and Applications". This session encompasses the following research domains as well as other related research directions: Algebraic structures and construction of new classes of generalized inverse matrices Theoretical extensions and property characterizations of operator generalized inverses Applications of generalized inverses in machine learning and data dimensionality reduction Generalized inverse methodologies in differential-algebraic equations Generalized inverses and stability analysis of control systems Optimization of generalized inverse algorithms in numerical linear algebra Practical implementations of generalized inverses in mathematical statistics and econometrics Along with other related research directions
