 Introduction:
Delay Differential Equations (DDEs) play a pivotal role in modeling dynamical systems where the future evolution depends on both current and past states. These equations are widely used in various disciplines such as biology, epidemiology, physics, engineering, and economics to account for time delays in feedback, transmission, decision-making, and developmental processes. This special session aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and experts in the field of numerical analysis and applied mathematics to present recent advances, innovative techniques, and applications of DDEs. The session will focus on the development of efficient numerical methods, stability and bifurcation analysis, software implementation, and real-world modeling based on DDEs. Scope and Topics (including but not limited to): 1- Numerical methods for solving DDEs (Runge-Kutta, multistep, collocation, spectral methods) 2- Stability, convergence, and error analysis in DDEs 3- Delay-induced dynamics: bifurcations, chaos, and pattern formation 4- Software packages and computational frameworks for DDEs 5- Applications in: Epidemiology and population dynamics; Neural networks and control theory; Engineering systems and mechanical vibrations; Economic and financial systems.
