Introduction:
| This special session brings together active researchers working at the interface of partial differential equations and the life sciences. PDEs are ubiquitous in capturing the spatial and temporal dynamics of complex biological phenomena, including processes such as pattern formation, population dispersal, ecological invasions, spread of infectious disease, intracellular chemotactic signaling. The session features a diverse group of speakers whose work spans theoretical analysis, numerical simulations, and biologically informed modeling. Collectively, the talks will highlight new mathematical challenges and biological insights arising from recent works and foster discussion and collaboration across different expertise.
