 Introduction:
This special session will bring together researchers working at the intersection of topology and dynamical systems, with emphasis on both foundational approaches and practical applications. The session will explore how topological methods—including algebraic topology, shape theory, and persistent homology—contribute to the study of dynamical systems, whether deterministic or stochastic. Topics include topological dynamics, recurrence, and chaos, as well as applications to time-dependent data, physical systems, biological models, and computational frameworks. We also welcome contributions from Topological Data Analysis (TDA), both theoretical and applications, particularly (but not limited to) those addressing time series through computational topology. The session aims to promote cross-disciplinary discussion and demonstrate the relevance of topological methods in analysing and understanding dynamic behaviour in diverse contexts.
