Introduction:
| | As the interest toward both stationary and evolutive partial differential equations involving anisotropic, nonlinear, and nonlocal diffusion operators constantly grows, establishing regularity properties of the solutions to such equations remains one of the most challenging issues. In this special session, we aim at providing a resume of the state of the art and proposing new directions of research, with a special focus on the comparison between local and nonlocal theories. The speakers’ list includes both well-established experts and young researchers, aiming at creating an occasion for fruitful discussions.
