Financial Support  

The conference has received a grant from the National Science Foundation pending for final notice. Partial support will be available to a limited number of participants from the United States . Priority will be given to recent (5 years or less) Ph.D.s and graduate students from under-represented groups in mathematical sciences, U.S. citizens and residents, who give presentations in the conference. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Applications and supporting materials must be received by March 31, 2014. Decisions will be made in early April.

Those requesting support should complete an application form available below. Acrobat reader is required so the “Submit Form” function working properly. Graduate students requesting support should have their advisor send a letter of support.

1) All the fields in red are required.

2) According to NSF guideline, this fund cannot support the conference registration fee. Please DO NOT include the registration fee in the estimated travel cost.

3) If you have trouble using the “Submit Form”, Do the following: After completing the application form, save the file using the format (your last name)-(your first name)-AIMS2014.pdf. E-mail the saved PDF file to Dr. Yaw Chang.

 

Acknowledgment


The American Institute of Mathematical Sciences acknowledges and thanks the US National Science Foundation for their continued support since the first AIMS conference in 1996. As a result of their support, more than 400 Ph.D.s and graduate students were able to participate and present talks in the AIMS conferences.
