Conference Venue
"The 12th AIMS Conference on Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations and Applications" will be held in National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. The opening ceremony and plenary speeches will take place at National Taiwan University Sports Center. Parallel sessions will take place at Freshman Classroom Building, Multi-purpose Classroom Building and Astronomy-Mathematics Building. Airport Information
Taipei is served by two airports – Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport for most international flights and Taipei Songshan Airport for domestic flights as well as some short-haul flights to Asian destinations.
From Taoyuan Airport to Taipei city
- *Bus, 60 – 75 mins
Tickets sold at bus counters (also the pickup point). The counter at the Terminal 1 is at B1 Arrivals. The counter at the Terminal 2 is at the northeast arcade of the 1st floor Arrivals lobby.
- *Taxi, 40 – 55 min
Taxis operating by shifts are located at the west side of the Arrivals Lobby of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
- *Taoyuan Metro: Participants could take MRT from the Airport (A12-Termianl 1 or A13-Terminal 2) to Taipei Main Station (A1) and then connect to other lines.
- *Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR in short, a fast train), 55 – 60 min
Step 1: take the shuttles (Ubus No.705) from the Airport to THSR Taoyuan Station

- - Bus fare: NT$30 (USD $1)
- - Tickets are sold at: Ubus service counters at Arrivals Lobby of Terminals 1 and 2. (Ubus統聯客運 is a bus company that provides shuttle services from Airport to THSR Taoyuan)
- - Intervals: 5 – 10 minutes intervals during peak times.
Step 2: take THSR to Taipei Station.

Traveling around Taipei
- Metro Taipei: Taipei is served by an efficient MRT system. Fares start at NT$20 (discounted to NT$16 with an Easy Card).There are total 5 routes of Metro Taipei.

- *Youbike: Taipei also has an extensive public bicycle rental system (YouBike), fares start from NT$5 for first 30 minutes.
- *Bus: Taipei is well served by buses, signage and announcements are provided in English. Fares start at NT$15.
- *Taxi: Taxis are cheap and plentiful, fares start at NT$70 and are normally less than NT$200 to most downtown locations.
Visiting Taipei
Taipei is situated in the north of Taiwan and is the political, economic, and cultural capital of the island.
