The AIMS Conference Series on
Dynamical Systems and Differential Equations

This conference series is a biennial event which periodically provides a forum for mathematicians and scientists worldwide working in the ever growing field of analysis and applied analysis, including dynamical systems, differential equations, and real-world applications. The conferences in this series, "Dynamical Systems and Differential Equations," take place in different regions to benefit the most people possible. Five characteristics of this conference series make it unique and outstanding:

(1) broad coverage so that each participant can find numerous enlightening talks;
(2) well-organized symposiums which attract the best experts of the world in the chosen areas;
(3) arranging each conference to take place in a different region to benefit the most people;
(4) organized by the professional organization AIMS, which is backed up by hundreds of supporters, to guarantee a high quality and large participation; and
(5) proceedings which are published by AIMS as added volumes to one of its journals to guarantee a high added value and large readership.

The conference series was founded and has been organized together with local organizers by Professor Shouchuan Hu. The first conference took place at Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, MO, USA, May 1996; the second was at Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, June 1998 (local organizers: Professors Weijiang Zhang and Xiaoyun Ma); the third was at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, GA, USA, May 2000 (local organizer: Professor Joshua Du); the fourth conference was at University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Wilmington, NC, USA, June 2002 (local organizers: Dr. Wei Feng and Dr. Xin Lu); the fifth conference was at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, USA, June 2004 (local organizers: Dr. Ioana Mihaila, Dr. Martin Nakashima, Dr. Claudia Pinter-Lucke, Dr. Stephen Wirkus and Dr. Weiqing Xie ); the sixth conference was at University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France, June 2006 (local organizers: Dr. Alain Miranville, Dr. Laurence Cherfils, Dr. Hassan Emamirad, Dr. Morgan Pierre, Dr. Philippe Rogeon and Dr. Arnaud Rougirel) which was attended by a record of 700 mathematicians and scientists from 5 continents. Therefore, the Conference Series has proven itself to be a very needed and grand event for people in the fields. The conferences have been financially supported by the National Science Foundation, USA.

Hosting a conference in this series can help you make a broad connection and put your university on the map. If you are interested, we can help you become a host for a future conference in this series. For this matter, you may contact

The American Institute of Mathematical Sciences acknowledges and thanks the US National Science Foundation for their continued support since the first AIMS conference in 1996. As a result of their support, more than 400 Ph.D.s and graduate students were able to participate and present talks in the AIMS conferences.
