Abstract:
| In recent years, nonlinear math-biology modeling plays a substantial role in the understanding of the intrinsic mechanisms of the involved systems. The study of dynamical system
theory (involving ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations, functional differential equations), optimal control theory, stochastic processes provide numerous novel theories
and computational methods to improve understanding in ecology, epidemiology, and treatment practices. This special session will present the recent advance in the study of nonlinear dynamics
on ecology for the protection of endangered species or control of invasive species, disease transmission for the disease prediction, prevention, and control, and tumor therapies for the optimal
treatment strategies. This special session will also provide an opportunity to unify the strength
of applied mathematicians and modellers to enhance their collaborations. |
