Abstract:
| In this session, we aim for discussing recent advances in the theory of nonlocal balance laws and their applications in numerous fields like traffic flow, chemical engineering, crowd dynamics, supply chains, opinion formation and beyond. Recently, the interest in nonlocal dynamical models has significantly increased as they model real-world phenomena often in more detail than well-known local models. We hope that the nonlocal research community will use this opportunity for discussing future challenges in the field, defining new research directions and building new collaborations. Thus, every researcher interested in nonlocal balance laws is cordially invited to participate. |
