Abstract:
Conservation laws with non-local flux have been introduced in the past years in road traffic flow modeling to account for the reaction of drivers to downstream vehicle densities, assigning a greater importance to closer vehicles. In this talk, I will address the main model characteristics, as well as its extensions to heterogeneous traffic and networks.
