| This talk is devoted to the study of optimal control problems in fluid dynamics.
The fluid is assumed to occupy a bounded domain of R^d, d=2,3, and
may be subject to external Gaussian random forces. Various types of control
actions will be considered to achieve a prescribed velocity profile
while minimizing the associated cost.
Results concerning the existence and uniqueness of optimal solutions will be
presented, and appropriate strategies for determining the optimal control will
be developed. |
