  Abstract:

In this study, we apply the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) to derive analytical solutions to the
Korteweg-de Vries-Burgers (KdV-Burgers) equation, well-known (2+1) dimensional nonlinear
evolution equations. These solutions are essential for explaining intricate physical processes in
various disciplines, such as nonlinear optics, fluid dynamics, and plasma physics. Convergence of the
HAM-based solution is demonstrated via the squared residual error approach. It is shown that there
is a strong match between the HAM-based technique and the exact solution to the problems.
