Abstract:
Aggregation-confinement-diffusion models with saturation are examples of degenerate parabolic equations that arise in models of chemotaxis and population dynamics. The presence of the degeneracy weakens the structure of the equation; and thus some of the properties of its solutions are lost. We explain an approach for proving the H\older regularity for the solution of these equations based on the method of intrinsic scaling.
