| Aubry and Mather established a theory to show the existence of invariant tori for area-preserving maps by using the variational methods. We consider its hyperbolic case which has symbolic dynamics. In this talk, we show the existence of orbits realizing symbolic sequences for area-preserving maps on tori. |
