In the $n$-body problem a central configurations is called {\em stacked central configuration}
if a proper subset of the $n$ bodies also form a central configuration.
We consider the symmetric five-body problem with three bodies lie on the axis of symmetry.
In this talk we will show the existence of a new family of stacked central configurations,
that in addition to the symmetry four of the bodies lies at the vertices of a rhombus. |
