| In this talk, we discuss the instability of the solitary wave solutions for some dispersive equations, which include the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations, generalized Boussinesq equations and the derivative nonlinear Schrodinger equations. In particular, we discuss the instability of the solitary wave solutions in the degenerated case. |
