Abstract:
In this talk we will present some new results regarding a parabolic-hyperbolic Keller-Segel system. This system was proposed by Othmers \& Stevens based on biological considerations as a model of tumor angiogenesis and also appears as a singular limit of the classical parabolic-slliptic Keller-Segel model of aggregation of the slime mold \emph{Dictyostelium discoideum}. In particular, we will present some global existence results in certain dissipation regimes.
