Some nonlinear cell-division models are discussed. The uniqueness
and global existence of the positive solutions, the existence of
steady solutions and the asymptotic behavior of solutions will be
obtained by using the general theories of nonlinear equations in
Banach spaces, the semigroups and the spectral analysis of positive
semigroups.
