Abstract:
We obtain optimal rate of convergence in various situations in periodic homogenization of Hamilton-Jacobi equations in convex setting. We use the optimal control formula, and find a natural connection between how fast the average of backward characteristic converging to its rotation vector and rate of convergence in homogenization.
