Abstract:
We derive the spectral gap property for the random iteration of finitely many expanding diffeomorphisms on the real-line without a common fixed point. As an applilcation, we introduce generalised Takagi functions on the real-line and investigate their Hoelder regularity by using the multifractal analysis in ergodic theory.
