Analytical Solutions to the Compressible Euler Equations

Abstract:
In this talk, we present rotational and self-similar solutions for the compress- ible Euler equations in $R^N$ using the separation method and the Cartesian ma- trix method. Some blowup phenomena and global existences of the responding solutions can be determined. The analytical solutions provide concrete reference examples for vortices in computational fluid dynamics.
