Abstract:
One of the severe consequences of the plasma disruptions in tokamaks is the generations of the energetic particles. These particles accelerated by the electric field carry massive energy which has great danger to plasma facing components. Since the timescales of dynamics of runaway electrons span 11 orders of magnitude, the numerical simulation with long-term stability is needed. Based on geometric property inherited by the full orbit model of runaway particles we construct the numerical methods, and exhibit the numerical results.
