Weak Solutions to Mean-Field Games

Abstract:
In this seminar, we will address the problem of existence of weak solutions to monotone mean-field games. We introduce a notion of weak solution and prove the existence of such weak solutions under a minimal set of assumptions. We will also examine the properties of these solutions in several examples. Our approach is based on monotone operator methods and provides a general framework to construct weak solutions to MFGs with local, nonlocal, or congestion terms. This is a joint work with Diogo A.
