Abstract:
The aim of this talk is to present some existence results of radially symmetric oscillating solutions for a class of nonlinear autonomous Helmholtz equations and in particular to analyse their exact asymptotic behavior at infinity. Some generalizations to non-autonomous radial equations as well as existence results for non-radial solutions will be discussed. These results are linked with the existence of standing waves solutions of nonlinear wave equations with large frequencies.
