Special Session 95: Modeling the spread and control of infectious diseases
Contents
Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a major blood-born disease that continues to pose significant public health and socio-economic burden globally. The talk is focused on modeling the transmission dynamics of HCV within an IDU (injecting drug user) population. Results for the existence and stability of equilibria, as well as bifurcation types, will be reported.
