In this talk I will consider a 2-dimensional air-water system (i.e., a
two-fluid system with the density of one of the
fluids limiting to zero) in a channel. Both fluids are supposed to be
inviscid, incompressible, and homogeneous.
I will show that the connection properties of the air domain affect
total horizontal momentum conservation, despite the apparent
translational invariance of the system. |
