Special Session 69: Lie Symmetries, Conservation laws and other approaches in solving nonlinear differential equations

In this talk Lie symmetry analysis is performed on the generalized two-dimensional nonlinear Kadomtsev-Petviashivilli-modified equal width (KP-MEW) equation. The symmetries and adjoint representations for this equation are given, an optimal system of one-dimensional subalgabras is derived. The similarity reductions and exact solutions with the aid of (G'/G)-expansion method are obtained based on the optimal systems of one-dimensional subalgebras.
