In this talk we will consider the one-dimensional Landau-Lifshitz equation,
a model describing the dynamics for the spin in ferromagnetic materials.
This equation is related to the Schrodinger maps onto the sphere and also to the cubic nonlinear Schrodinger equation.
We prove the orbital stability of sums of solitons with an easy-plane anisotropy,
under the assumptions that the speeds of the solitons are different, and that their initial positions are sufficiently separated and ordered according to their speeds. |
