Special Session 72: Kinetic models - analysis, computation, and applications
Contents
The focus of this talk will be on the analysis of steady-state solutions in $\mathcal{R}^d$
to a coupled system of PDEs, which was originally introduced as a model for social
segregation. The existence of steady-state solutions are important as they provide some
insight into long-time behavior of solutions. We explore the existence and non-existence of steady states via a free energy functional.
