Special Session 87: Evolution equations and integrable systems

The $\mu$HS equation was introduced by B. Khesin, J. Lenells and G. Misiolek as a geodesic equation on the group of circle diffeomorphisms. I will present some existence results for weak solutions of the Cauchy problem of this equation.
