The Klein-Gordon equation which plays an important role in mathematical physics. The equation has attracted much attention in studying solitons and condensed matter physics, in investigating the interaction of solitons in collisionless plasma and the recurrence of initial states.
In this work we consider the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation from the point of view of Lie symmetries. We derive Lie classical generators and we obtain similarity solutions, reductions and some exact solutions.
