Hamiltonian Perturbation Theory is a well established subject for a wide class of nearly integrable systems with a periodic or quasi-periodic time dependence. Nevertheless, very little is known for systems in which the dependence on time is only aperiodic. As a consequence, several basic questions concerning their stability are still open.
A Nekhoroshev result for such a class of systems will be discussed in detail, and we will also address some further topics related to the Aperiodic Perturbation Theory. |
