| The talk makes the point on some recent existence and multiplicity results for difference equations obtained by requiring nonstandard conditions on the nonlinearities.
The approach adopted is based on variational methods on finite dimensional Banach spaces, truncations techniques and the discrete maximum principle.
In particular, it points out that, in some cases, such results are not the analogous of those achieved by using the same tools for the corresponding differential equations. |
