PROPAGATION PHENOMENA OF FISHER-KPP EQUATIONS IN HETEROGENEOUS MEDIA VIA GENERALIZED PRINCIPAL EIGENVALUE

Abstract:
In this talk, some recent advances on the propagation phenomena of
Fisher-KPP type reaction-diffusion equations in one-dimensional heterogeneous media
are presented, covering aspects of local dispersal, nonlocal dispersal, and dispersal in
discrete spaces. As the main tool, we also introduce the theory of generalized principal
eigenvalues in these cases.
