Mixed and augmented HOC schemes for biharmonic equations

Abstract:
This report presents two novel high-order compact (HOC) schemes, a mixed HOC scheme and an augmented HOC scheme, for the numerical solution of two- and three-dimensional biharmonic equations under various boundary conditions. The proposed methods achieve high-order accuracy while maintaining computational efficiency. Extensive numerical experiments demonstrate their accuracy, robustness, and effectiveness.
