Introduction:
| | The Riemann problem of hyperbolic systems for conservation laws in applied partial differential equations has continuously been attracting considerable interest for a long time. It has been achieved remarkable results in muti-dimensional Riemann problems and its related area in recent years. The purpose of the proposed special session is to bring together both young and experienced experts in this area to discuss recent results in theoretical analysis and numerical theories of the Riemann problems of hyperbolic PDEs in some related fields like fluid dynamics. In this session, people are expected to exchange new ideas, to discuss challenging issues, to showcase methodological advances, to explore new directions and topics, and to foster new collaborations and connections. |
