 Introduction:
In recent decades, fractional and delay differential equations have gained prominence across scientific and technical fields, offering a balance between realism and tractability. This Special Issue presents a comprehensive exploration of these models, encompassing the construction of exact solutions, numerical methods, dynamical properties, and applications in various disciplines. Of particular interest is the incorporation of the pantograph equation, a specialized form of functional differential equation with proportional delay, which has emerged as a significant tool in modeling systems with inherent time lags. The Issue aims to address both deterministic and stochastic settings, providing insights into mathematical modeling across biology, economics, and engineering domains. Moreover, the Issue seeks to delve into emerging trends and analytical insights within biological systems, including investigations into solution existence and uniqueness, oscillatory behavior, stability analyses, parameter estimation, and numerical advancements. The utilization of wavelets and framelets in numerical approaches further enhances solution accuracy and efficiency. This collection of contributions offers a valuable platform for advancing understanding and applications of fractional and delay differential equations in diverse scientific contexts.
