Introduction:
| | This special session will delve into the fascinating realm of nonlinear waves, exploring their diverse phenomena, mathematical models, and applications across various scientific disciplines. We will focus on recent advances related (but not limited) to solitary waves and their interactions, analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations that describe wave propagation, nonlinear optics, acoustics, nonlinear waves in biological systems, etc. We aim to foster interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations, highlighting the connections between nonlinear waves in various fields. We hope to stimulate new research directions and inspire future developments in this exciting and dynamic study area.
