Geometric Regularity Criteria for Incompressible Navier--Stokes Equations Under Navier Boundary Conditions

Abstract:
We present a global regularity criterion for the incompressible Navier--Stokes Equations under the Navier slip boundary condition on certain special 3D domains, in the spirit of the pioneering works by Constantin and Fefferman. More precisely, if the vorticity directions at nearby points do not vary too sharply in the spatial variable, then the weak solutions are automatically strong up to the boundary. Further developments and questions will also be discussed.
