| We consider a system of parabolic equations which incorporate both cross-diffusion and higher order terms of Cahn-Hilliard type. Using the formal gradient flow structure of the system we show existence of weak solutions by means of a-priori estimates, a discretized-in-time scheme and an application of Schauder`s fixed point theorem. |
