Symmetry analysis of a generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in fluid mechanics

Abstract:
In this talk, we investigate a generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation which describes
the weakly dispersive waves in fluid mechanics. We find exact solutions of this equation
and furthermore, we construct its conservation laws.
