EXACT SOLUTIONS OF A RADIALLY SYMMETRIC AVASCULAR CANCER MODEL

Abstract:
In this talk, we will consider a mathematical model for tumor invasion from the point of view of Lie symmetries. The model consists of a nonlinear system of partial differential equations describing the dynamics of interactions between tumor cells density, extracellular matrix density, and the matrix degrading enzymes concentration. We will show particular solutions of the model obtained by applying the Lie symmetry technique and discuss their behavior.
