Abstract:

Exciting recent developments on problems arising in applications such as material science, meteorology and optimal transport use ideas from several areas of nonlinear analysis. This session brings together young researchers and experts in these areas to hear about new results and promote exchange of ideas at the intersection of nonlinear PDEs, geometric variational problems, geometric measure theory, functional inequalities, and harmonic analysis.
